music-go-round for a good selection..they got a blue eliminator on there for 149 right now, and sometimes they are up at C.G. in Monroeville, or in some mom and pop store in Gibsonia/Butler/Wheeling or even Boardman Ohio that is a hour or less drive to check em out 
unless it is a rare item, there's always a good supply around.

That exact bass is the very same anti-gravity bass that I played for about a year. My best friend owns a music store and is one of the largest Jackson dealers in the states. He purchased that bass whenever they first hit the market. The bass in that picture was a prototype and had a special serial number on it. We called it the Klingon War Axe! It only weighed about 5.5 pounds, but sounded and played incredible!

if you can ever find one, here's another company called Bently that sold a series10 that was a good player real close copy for a few years in the 80's.... nobody wants them cause they are no-namers so you can pick one up for 100 bucks or less.

Here is my current Jackson line up. The colors are off but you get the idea.
This was my first, a red transparent CMG Concert. I wanted a black one but after looking everywhere, even MF was out of stock, I found a local music store that thought they MIGHT be able to get one. Well, they couldn't get me a black one but they were able to get me a trans red. Even the sales guy had to confess the guitar played really, really well out of the box. It didn't need a setup and they were right, it didn't.
A few moths later I found a magenta Jackson Futura for $400 for sale on Craigslist but I couldn't really spend the money at the time. I pretty much forgot about it over the summer until it showed up again, same seller, this time for $200 with the case, so I bought it. It looks red in the photo but believe me it's bright magenta.
Sometime in the middle of winter MF got a black Jackson CMG in stock so I jumped on that. It played just as great as the first right out of the box. I couldn't believe it. The two CMG's are identical except for color. Playing them I couldn't tell them apart. The CMG's really are my favorite to play. I really like the feel of the neck, the playability of the compound radius, the low action, the bound neck and of course, the pointy head stock.
Here is my newest used Jackson, a Kelly I got from Guitar Centers used dept. They only had the name and price with no photos. I called the GC in Florida where it was at and asked them about it. The sales guy described it, said it looked nice just a few light scratches. He wasn't sure why it was so cheap so I didn't give any time to think it over. I told him I would take it. I got it for under $200 with the shipping and the case.
The case needs a little work but nothing major. The frets have some patina but look like they have never been played. Some cleaning and a string change is all it needs.

They are beautiful guitars. My wife doesn't even mind me leaving the Jacksons out in the living room. She says they're sexy.
The FUTURA/KipWingers they really do grow on you after awhile. They are also very comfortable to play. Mines got 105 round wounds but I'm thinking of putting flatwounds on it. Just for grins.

Awesome collection! Just awesome! The white left and right hand Charvels really are cool. Heaven help me - I do covet the Jackson TBX.
Z-bar, the lefty has a righty neck and the red one on the carpet has it's neck. There's a couple more, but these are the only ones I have currently playable.

If I honestly had to say which I thought was the best overall player?, the B+M 2b... Which one to me sounds the best?.. that's a tie between the 3b and the 4b cause they sound the same, just one is heavier.
The worst in playability?...the CHS...the worst in tone?..the red 1b ( the B+M on the carpet has a EMG in it and sounds much more P-like ).
nothing like some of the $$$ collections on here, but just a little piece of history from a company that was not popular in the mass production bass category, and when they were it was only a few good years
