Look what UPS did to the 88 Jackson I bought on ebay. Has anyone ever had this happen to them?
yes
the damn bitch is insurance covers it IF something happens, it does not route your package any differently than the millions of others :(

I wont comment because I have been chattin with Sandman for some time about it, but I will say:

As long as you get the money back from ups for the full amount it was insured for the hardest thing is the loss of a potential friend you could have had to entertain audiences for years to come.

Yes SOB it was insured for the full value and hopefully UPS will pay. If not I used Paypal so I am still covered. It is a shame though that a bass lived for 24 years just do die this week at the hands of the fools at UPS. It was packed well enough.. obviously it was just abused by them. I feel probably dropped from a great height most likely. I have pics of my 87 concert on here this one was going to be it's evil twin because of the skeleton graphic. Oh well as Mike said the main loss if I get the money back is the loss of a potential friend. I playd it a bit and it still plays true..Gotta love Jackson ! If you here of any 80's CB's please let me know as I am still in the market....

oh now this is cool, on an old episode of MarriedWithChildren, theres a segment that has a tbird with 2 j's, and a reversehead on it, and although the actors are probably playing someones rented gear for the show, and as with a lot of shows they cant show you a brand name so it looks like there may be black tape over the logo, ( think "cereal" on a plain box instead of Kellogg ) it sure looks like a jacksonhead. the skit is around 15:30 - 17:00 or so.

sorry this is one of those "vevo" style vids with commercials so even if you skip to 15:30, it still plays the commercials :(

haha " thanks to Mike S", which is me and that is my info from the audiozone site I wrote for Henrik, but NO that is not Matt's.
I added a bunch of my rare Jacksons to Henriks site when he was asking for more bass input. My old Jpb7 is there, my Lefty Futura/ TBX and my Eliminator are all there for everyone to check out with a little description on each.

Different seller. Matt's e.bay name is baronvonfun. and 1900 bucks??-- no offence to him but good luck !

This is a colletors items
maybe the rarest jackson bass ever

^^^^^^ uh....not to me .... ;)

Hey Shawn, I just won a 1993 Grover Jackson 3B for less than 200. lots of pics, pics look clean, goofy seller had it in a weird category though and has zero feedback he has been an ebayer since 2007. WTH, I took a chance for 167 bucks and since he is in Canada probably 100-150 shipping. Well within my budget.

so now the wait for him to send me an invoice and go from there since his ad said shipping to USA and it was listed in the USA E.bay.

I'm not worried because if he backs out he does, paypal will not allow "excessive" ship charges because if the goof comes back with 400.00 shipping I'll report it and not pay.

a lot of ifs when it comes to a zero feedback seller...:atoz:
CL ad comment threads I read here titled "great deal" from anonymous sellers who just want it gone, and the buyer gets just that, a nice unit for a nice price. If everything is legit, cool I'll have another MIJ-Jackson. I don't care if GreatWhite signed it or not and looks like nobody else cared enough either to toss a higher bid on it for any kind of band memorabilia value.

P/HB routed for the Soloist Custom.

the Super Dinky Standard was a dot neck passive HH.
and this is the USA Built Soloist sandman has - emg knobs config, binding, much more complex paint than a sponge pattern certainly worth more.

geez, 150,000 yen matched the price they were listing it for back then if you bought a USA:
