Early nineties Jackson Concert V 5 string bass professsional EMG pickups boomers | eBay price is way too high for me, but i thought some of you would like to check it out. plus i felt the need to bump this thread, there hasn't been much discussion in here lately =)

yeah, i love my JS3V, but i still have a thing for those 90's models. if that one was like 400 dollars cheaper i'd consider buying it for the sake of having it.
looks like a 90's Concert to me, not worth 400 in my book unless I was looking for a J/J. ESPECIALLY because someone put EMG's in it and did not use a stack knob and a 2 band EQ, the standard Vol/Tone/BAL setup stinks ( been there done that )
is that a neck thru? the serial will be stamped in the last fret. too small of a pic and it looks like the old 80's bridge but i cant tell from one pic.

i played my 3B for the first time in probably about 9 months last night and dizamm, i really like that bass. i've probably had it going on 14 years now and i can probably play about every song i know blindfolded i'm so used to it, even though it's not my main player.
anyway wanted to share!
it's an '88 in firecrackle finish, neck-thru, with updated EMG P/Js...

They only had silver in stock but its what I wanted anyways.
My next choice was the silver burst.
I looked around and found it on a couple sites but not for that price.
So i pullled trigger on the silver.
I ordered mine today. I went with the black, even though it wasn't in stock. I can wait. Same price as you.
I've always loved the Kelly body style, I told my wife that I'm done buying instruments for awhile, but if a Kelly bass came along, I do believe I'd have to break that promise...
