By the way, I do believe it is documented that jazz developed from the old standard songs. Of course, the blues form is very important to jazz as well.

I wouldn't think the ethnicity of the music being analyzed would make much difference, if any.

It's not a bar-by-bar dissection.
Thus, your typical blues song has the form: "A-A-A-A"

Sometimes, the chorus is different, in key, or chord change structure, or tempo.
This would be a 'B' section. A song like that would look like this: "A-B-A-B"

Old joke: What's the difference between Blues and Jazz? A: Jazz has a bridge, and Blues doesn't.
The Bridge would be a B section.
That might be A-A-A-B-A

yes i get you... but i think the non diatonic armonic changes of the blues mark those changes as another part...
