Job Interview

There is more to MA than Boston. While I love Boston, you can't dismiss Cape Cod and the Islands. They're paradise on the east coast.

Compared to Hawaii, I can comfortably dismiss Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, the Hamptons, and anything else on the northeastern coast. And I grew up in the Northeast! :D

But seriously, good luck Hawaii Islander!

The new job is located at Buzzards Bay, MA.

I'm originally from the North Shore area (Salem). It's a very nice area too.

capnsandwich, smperry and MrLenny1,

Hawaii is nice, but no jobs available in my field at the moment.

Thanks for the words of support! :)

I was born, and lived in Hawaii (military family). We moved because there is so little to do, and everything is very expensive (at least that is what my Dad says his reason was). All of our family was on the mainland, and even hopping from island to island got old quick (again, going by my parents reasoning). I'm not suggesting Hawaii isn't incredible, because it is, as a vacation spot.

Btw, where in the Northeast are you from?

Of course...but if I had a lot of money, Hawaii would be high on my places to live. I suppose it could get old, but for me it's in another category.

Born in New Jersey, but Connecticut (Southern) mostly (from ages 9-21, mom still lives there). Wife's family is in New Hampshire and friends everywhere in between. We're moving back east in August actually. We'll be living in Long Island, most likely along the south shore.
