I know you have probably posted this before, but what kind of bass is it, how long have you had it and where can I get one???
i thought that bass was a custom order. no matter what, it is AWESOME.

Just look at my profile
Its a Listerud Custom bass, norwgian luthier, and i guess its my "custom" since its the first of its kind from him. i paid 17000 nkr, wich is about 2700 dollar(yes, we have insanely expensive stingrays here, they cost the same..) i have had it for about 2 months now.
why didnt i think to look at his profile? how do you say Listerud? it looks easy to say, but i know of some weird ways to say normal things.

Cool, that was great. in a way, we are still talking about John and things related to John, so, we really havent lost the original Thread idea in a way.

Me Likee the basses Listerud has on their site. Very nice looking products. A little far for warranty service from California, but what the hey.

Oops forgot, I worked for a Swedish company for a while it must have affected my brain. Its been a while too. But the Norge version has a different farewell than greeting unlike the Swedish don't they? Anyway... Hei... !

lucky bum... i want 2 of those, one with the Union Jack, and one in the shape of America and with the flag on it. i would get an extra that i would smash, that one would look like George W. Bush. our president and national idiot.

Not really. All over the US (including Hawaii and Alaska), Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru. But only The UK, Norway and Sweden in Europe.
I worked for a Swedish Project Management company back in the late 1980s and they flew me over there for 3 weeks. IT was a lot of fun!

God i love these Optima strings! So thight, snappy, nice feeling and overall exelent strings!
I realy see what John saw in theses strings, i can tune my E down to C without it being floppy and crappy sounding at all!! I bet i can get it to a B, and then my 4 string listerud have eliminated any need i will ever have for a 5er
