I really haven't listened enough to this guy's playing. He was a perfectionist, and a virtuoso in a time when alot of players were content to stick to root notes and box patterns.
You where the one asking about his technique:
Listen to "dancing master" im pretty convinced that hes mainly typewriting on that song.
that is one of his solo songs btw.

I realy prefer the John Entwistle Fundation T-shirt..
as you know i prefer the Buzzard era.
all of them are great, so it really is all at the same level of coolness for me at least.
Most of those are his own, great songs!
