I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but...

My Jule Amps Monique Dovecage is really a spectacular piece of gear! :hyper:

I received both the Rackmount and Dovecage versions a couple of months ago - haven't even opened the rackmount box yet, because I'm in the middle of moving to Williamson County, TN, but I have dabbled around with the Dovecage>Demeter 800>Baer ML-112 and it is just a great setup. Infinitely flexible and it is nearly impossible to dial in a bad tone, regardless of the preamp/sensitivity/EQ settings.

With my Fodera MG Sig (Horse Chestnut over Walnut/Alder Tone Block and Ash Neck/Ebony FB) it is nothing short of a magic tone. Gobs of clear, thick, chewy low-end yet with clear note articulation and definition. I have never heard better tone than this for what I do...

Once I get to set up my studio after the move, I can hardly wait to drop bass tracks into Logic with this setup...:bassist:

The best gear is always elegantly simple, in my opinion... The Jule Amps Monique is this very thing. Jule you have created a masterpiece, Sir!

Very cool. You are loaded for bear with that rig! The first part of my 'Monique rig' arrives today... the new Bergantino NV115 (sealed 15 and mid driver). I am a fan of the ML112 (really nice box), but would need two of them to handle my gigs, and I am a single cab guy. I am hoping the NV115 gives me a similar general tonality, with a bigger low end and output that is between a single ML112 and two of them.

Not sure how long the wait is now for the DeMonique. I won't bother Jule for another few weeks to check in on timing. He bounced me back when I ordered that he has a number of the Tardis pre's in production, and that Demeter has shortened their turnaround time to 2-3 weeks for adding the Minnie.... so maybe in a month or so (I'm 2 weeks in on the order) I will be loaded for bear:bassist:

:D I hope not! NV115 just arrived. What an absolutely beautiful looking and sounding little box! Can't wait to get some de-Monique power into it. Sounds somewhat like a 'big ML112' (another great cab) with a bit more relaxed top end. And, not a whole lot bigger. Very nice!

Back at you Jule, and still hoping to meet up in person later this year or at NAMM. I finally located someone with a Monique within reasonable driving distance, and am really looking forward to playing through it soon.

Not yet, but yes, it should sound great. Of course, there are smaller/lighter ways to get a bunch of power behind Monique, but the B1500 would certainly be up to the task.

We recently received a Bamboo Monique and a Dove Cage from Jule. Lovely little gems they are. Instead of running these through our Epifani amps, I'd like to use a separate power amp instead.

I'd appreciate forum members chiming in detailing their favorite rig or what they have knowledge of being a really good match with the Monique.
