Jule Amps Monique part 5

Lurking here is good.

Yes. Long saga, but I'm expect to have both newbies at NAMM in LA (Disneyland really). The first version (all FET) of what has come to be called Simone was good. It proved that it would be best to do all this with small tubes. The 500 is cool too. The same Hypex quality, frequency range and power, but in a pedalish enclosure you can treat roughly. Makes sense. Everybody seems to live on the road - and it will get through customs in Dubai. (Inside humor)

Simone runs on off-the-shelf 9 volts (2000mls). The B+ will not be some silly low voltage that just pretends to be a tube circuit. B+ is the 120volts value specified in the tube specs, . Will not be ready for sale until after NAMM.

Looking forward to this Jule! : ) I know you've put a lot of work into it. Let me know when you're ready on the preorders...not that I'm stopping with my regular setup anytime soon either. Courtney and I have a thing that should go out to you & your ladyfrien' sometime in the next week...I may miss Christmas...but might be new years.

We ended up at about ~90 shows this year, with 95% being Monique/M2500, plus some studio time. Thank you for all you do.

Anyone who's interested...here's a full night of what we do that runs from reggae-soul-dancehall to metal & psychedelic. All original, no covers. This one is Rastaburst to @juledude 's Monique/M2500 and in places a whole bunch of weird stuff in the middle.

This is great thank's @BurningSkies
I've got to say you guys have it locked in and are super tight. Tasteful playing across the board which, having listened to y'all before, I was kinda expecting. I'm gonna take great joy in listening to, then learning from, this set of fine tunes.

Thanks again from a fellow Ding and Jule user and fan!

Thanks! I hope you do enjoy. You should especially enjoy the awkward stage banter from our singer. :P

I'm bummed they closed the Rochester venue -- was a great place to catch @BurningSkies and band. :(

Thanks! We're pretty OK with it. We're friends with those guys but there were some problems associated with the room and location.

We've landed in a few other rooms in the Roc. We've done 3 Heads Brewing a few times, we're headlining at Anthology this Friday and have an upcoming at Lovin' Cup in the near future.

*A note though, that I'll be sitting out this week and next week so I can do some surgical stuff...I won't be on the road again until the beginning of February.

When will you be at Lovin' Cup? Good luck with the surgery!

Good luck with the surgery, my man. I hate to hear that. Speedy recovery...:bassist:

Lovin' Cup is Friday 2/15...and baring catastrophic surgical failure, I should be there. We traditionally take January off for weather/roads and to recover from our touring schedule. A couple members do things like fly to Thailand for the month...

Thanks for the luck! They're reworking all the sinus spaces and geometry in my head.

Ah, it's over due...I'm actually psyched to do it and get out the other side. Hopefully a few weeks of enforced rest will give me time to woodshed with the new fretless Dingwall. Thanks!

That sounds kinda like someone with a Dremel, porting a cylinder head.

Hope you’re relatively pain free after and that the surgery is a success.

I think its probably similar to the dremel but with some kind of suction/drainage involved. More worried about the septiplasty. ;) But thanks, I'm hoping it's not awful as well.

Lovin' Cup is a nice little venue -- my son-in-law has been in some songwriting contests there. At this point we have something tentatively going on the 15th in Buffalo, but if that doesn't firm up I'll be at Lovin' Cup!

Another Monique rack gig. Just Wow! Talk about clean and warm. I was standing right next to an upright player at soundcheck and hit the same notes on my Ashbory. Identical. :)

Jule, Jule!
Thank you. Thank you.

This was my morning. My first good opportunity to play for a couple of hours. Don't plan on building the first run 'till after NAMM.

Yes, please!

Should be fun. I am sure it could be made smaller, but I don't think it could be made any more solid. Time for sweet and tough.
