Jule Amps Monique part 5

Thankfully I brought my Monique as a backup and played it through the ampeg 6x10 (g-60, which was really a guitar cab but who’s counting) for the gig.
That rig sounded awesome! So much low end, reminded me of an SVT, with some warm up on top.
I don’t usually see Monique’s sitting on top of SVT cabs in this thread, so here u go. The bass is a 1980’s MIJ NBD I just posted about in another thread.

We got 'called' for a break at a festival on Saturday due to lightning...it was just a quick 15 minute stop. But after exiting the stage for a moment I went back up and there were a couple guys ogling my stuff...turns out they were bass players and had heard of the legendary "Jule Amps" but never seen one. We rode out the storm talking about the Monique and the M2500, and the hows and whys they work for me. Always love sharing your work.

Dude even without lightning my ass looks big. ;) Baby got back.

Thank you Bill. Good also, to know you are healthy again. And congratulations on your and the Band's success. Don't forget Santa Cruz has good venues.

We'll be out there eventually. Staying east of the Mississippi for a bit, I hear but there's word that they're working out some touring with The Movement (west coast reggae) and some other things. Also yeah, weird to have all my head spaces back where they should be and to feel halfway human again. I'm not sure how I stayed upright last year now that I look back on it. I've got some renewed enthusiasm for our mission. ;)

Chassis are getting color this week. Silkscreen won't take long after that. Time for Beta testing - very soon.

Both Simone and the S-500 amplifier will be ready at the same time.

Hey guys, I did a quick search but couldn't find the answer. Does anyone know what bulb the Monique takes? Mine burnt out months ago but I do like it to know that the Monique is getting power rather then waiting for the tubes to glow. Also I am thinking about replacing the lens to make it shine Red, Is that a standard size somewhere?

I think it's the same size and wattage as the general use fender ones, but shoot Jule a message and ask.

I ended up buying a frosted green 'vintage' lens that probably was originally a Gibson part.

I bought a 10 pack of these in blue. They work great in all of my 6v blue jewel amps. I prefer blue, Monique just happened to have it right from the factory.
