As a former basketball player I say, "ouch."

Want to thank my current customers for their patience with production delays this week. We are getting back on schedule in part because my son took time off from his day job to work with me this week. He is a more crazy/hard worker than I am. His day job is installing wiring in new Apple Stores around the world. His next stop is Berlin.

We are also enlisting the skills of Dallas Electronics, a company here in Santa Cruz who already does wiring for Burl Audio and Universal Audio. The owner started out doing point to point wiring for the Apollo Moon Mission electronics. She was excited to see what I'm doing with Monique.

I used to think I was trying to be "normal."

I was wrong.

For a relatively small town, Santa Cruz has good venues and a great number of outstanding musicians and creative spirits of all types. I think it has to do with the fact that it is seldom too cold for us to sleep in our cars.

The first set of Bamboo enclosures for the James Demeter 800-D Minnie (to match up with the Bamboo Monique) are now in the shop for the final step, the hand rubbed "finish."

Regarding the bamboo enclosure.....will someone have to order their MinnieD with it; or can someone who already has a Minnie D order one and put it in?

It will be very easy to securely add the Bamboo Minnie enclosure to existing and future 800-D Minnies. They do not have to be ordered together.

I am glad to say that was part of the original design specifications I worked out with Phil Buehrig.

Tom, yours (Blond) will come a bit later. Sorry. It seemed a bad idea to ask Phil to forego taking his kids to Disneyland next week.
