Haha, no it wasn't, that was a gift from another TBer, and the only idea I gave jule was, make it lighter please, he ran with it and from idea to my hands was maybe a month, he sure works fast.

I just presumed Jule found a way to make it bigger on the inside.

If you've lived with Doctor Who all your life(first episode 1963), as many of us Brits have, then an entity called The Tardis which is much bigger on the inside than the outside is just everyday stuff :)

As a Dr. Who lifer maybe you can provide some perspective to a johhny-come-lately like myself: Is Matt Smith as bad as I think? Granted, I've only been around for he, Eccelston and Tennant and a smattering of classic episodes so I don't have a great baseline.

And just to get slightly back on track, Jule what are the odds of seeing a full tube bass amp from your shop?

I thought the Tardis (desktop) was only available with a Demeter power amp.

The Tardis is the result of an excellent customer request. (You can read that either way you wish.) :)

Tardis was created before the association with James Demeter and his 800D Amplifier. She is available with our without the 800D.

Nope, the Tardis comes as a pre too, mine was the first one jule made like that and it came out of a thirty minute conversation of me asking "can you make it lighter," and jule said no, "can you make it smaller," and jule said no, then I asked about an aluminum chasis, and jule said no, I asked again, and he said maybe... And within 30 minutes he said yes.

I don't remember if it went exactly like that, but it sure makes for a good story of being persistent. :) thanks jule, I still love it, and its going into the studio this month.

It was fun. It is good to get nudged out of musty grooves once in a while.

We are now on the second batch of Tardis chassis, so you weren't the only one that likes the idea. :)

How is that even physically possible?

Gotta watch Doctor Who. Like Monique, big things come out of that little box.

Besides, I know how hard you work at your craft. You are another hard working Bass Player. A little BBC TV won't hurt.
