Just Got Back From The Tattoo Parlor

i like to see the kids getting the tribal art tattoos and ask them what tribe the designs came from. gets em all confused. all my tats have meaning, a story behind them. i don't get em just to have em. but that's just me.
Although there is no story behind my tattoo, I kinda agree with you. I don't want to just go and pick one from a dossier.

i loved it when i seen the pictue of jesus holding a cross and it said mathew 6:13 (i think). its funny how someone who would put the effort into getting that done must have no sense of the word of the bible and if they do then they have total disregard of it, it says dont change your body permanently because its a sin. blasfemy is something you can be proud of for the rest of your life! CONGRATS!!!

Brother, continue to read the Bible because it will also tell you not to judge others. Have you ever had a drink with caffeine in it? Do you smoke? Do you cuss/swear? Have you ever lied? I guarantee you have done one of the above, therefore you have sinned. Case closed.

Realize I am FULLY aware of what the Bible says about the body being a temple. I wonder, does your mom have her ears pierced? Dig deeper son, before you pass judgement on me again. Peace.

Todd, just because you have a personal belief about tattoos, doesn't mean that everyone else has to adhere to it.

Judge not, that ye be not judged.

no i dont drink or smoke or drink coffee my mom has her ears pierced and i told her that she is unpure because of it and she realizes it. ive lied and swear sometimes when cant help it but i try not to. you chose to sin and it wasnt a hard choice to not do it. yoy put your hard erned money and your time into it and then you go around showing it off. i dont ever commit blasfemy and i never post on the internet say (Guess what? i lied!:D ) that would seem just as stupid as you and you little tattoo you got there:rolleyes:

sorry dudes i am pretty loose with my tongue tonight, havent slept in over a week and at the most 3 hours a night for the past what like 7-8 months? i guess its finally catching up to me:( i feel bad for my posts lashing out at you guys, normally ide just smile and say "hey your choice" but i was being rude. i think ill stop posting for a few days maybe a week. ill just quietly read what you all have to say. sorry:(

actually todd it's in Leviticus (13: 26 or 16; 23 maybe) and it says: Thou shalt not make any cuttings in the flesh nor tattoo any marks upon thee....

But somewhere ELSE in the bible it says:
(about jesus) and on his leg it read: lord of lords, king of kings (in other words, jesus may have had a tattoo)

i feel bad for people who take the bible literally. they are trapped forever in ignorance and the funny part is that the bible usually contradicts itself quite often.

judge not todd, lest ye be judged as well...

I like the red bass clef design you got. If anybody was around to take a picture, I'd post the purple and blue/chain clef on my back I got in the dorms my freshman year of college. Seemed rash at the time, but I'm pretty happy with it three years and a few retouches later.

Better than a butterfly on my ankle or barbed wire around my arm...

My wife and I were in a bridal salon to pick out a flowergirl dress for my daughter. There was this KNOCKOUT brunette trying on a sleeveless wedding dress. She looked absolutely KILLER!!!!!!!!

She then turned around and revealed this long running vine-like tattoo down her arm. It just killed it. GAME OVER!!!

In response to the comment that all tattoos mean something: It's not always true. People get tattoos for all sorts of reasons and sometimes, a tattoo is just a tattoo. Other times, a tattoo might mean something to the owner, but they choose not to share that meaning with the "Nosy Nates" of the world. I have been criticized for having tattoos that don't mean anything, when the reality of it is, I simply choose not to share their meaning(s) with strangers in a grocery store line. If you are one of these people that tells someone to their face that they shouldn't have a tattoo if they don't know what it means, stop it. You are playing Russian roulette and someday, you are going to get a good, solid punch in the mush.

One other thing I'd like to say is, it's extremely impolite and rude to tell someone their tattoo sucks, or looks like s**t, or that, "It's a heart, but it looks more like a pair of butt cheeks!" It's a permanent mark on their body and little can be done to change it if it doesn't come out right. Pointing out a flaw is very, very poor taste. Have some tact.

Congrats on the new ink, darkspec. I too like the posedown!
