Ah...ok.
For left hand, you have to mentally ignore the B string...;)
No great physical trick for that one; though your left hand "should follow your right," all things being equal.

Don't think so much!

In theory, I completely agree. In practice, however, my left hand is too-frequently missing - even in a farily-simple 12-bar blues pattern. The closer string spacing, and differerent string locations in relation to the edges of the fretboard may be my stumbling block - although switching from a P to a J and back has never been an issue with 4's. It's just something I need continue to work with until I get it right, I guess. Thanks for your input, Chef. :)

Enough of my whining. Lets get the 01 Club back on track.

Mark Brown did such a great job centering and installing the pups, that you can barely notice this unless you are right up looking directly at them. I think my 4401 looks significantly better with the Nords than the stock Barts, even with this very slight gap. I'd say go for it. Add a good quality pre (Sadowsky, Aguilar, Nordstrand, Audere) and the Nords of your choice and you will be quite pleased.

Thank you for your response. Based on the pictures, I have to agree that your luthier did a fantastic job and that the Nords look much better than the stock Barts.

Now it is decision time on the pre :)
