That Glaub is great. I am loving mine. It "fits" me so much better than anything else I have owned. I can't wait to get my hands on a US BG5. Here are a few shots with my Glaub.

It's still reality...you guys are real right? Now I'm feeling like this is the The Truman Show:-)

PS - ok - so the whole Max Headroom thing does not work in typing.....BTW - Max is becoming a reality....the hotel I was staying at last week (in Orlando) had dish and there was a storm going through....the news anchor was skipping JUST like the Max!!!

Nice collection of the wretched things btw!!

ok, so this one's something new. it's a "find 5 differences" game here.

This here is a Lakland Shoreline 55-94 manufactured by ESP:

and THIS (on top) is a ESP Bardic by, quite obviously, ESP:

Works best when you align the position of the two in the two windows
Have a nice time!

hmmmm...I assume Dan knows about this??? I believe Fender (well the courts) proved that you cannot patent a body shape (or most of them anyways)....but they sure do look similar.....maybe Dan is OK as long as they do not sell them in the US????

Hey, I saw this on ebay last night-just listed.
A 98 55-94 neck in what looks like ex shape. Rosewood and birdseye. Signed and numbered by Kirk!

So I says to myself "I've never come across a US neck for sale, EVER!"
Then I thought "I should post this for the Lakie freaks on TB".

Then I hit 'Buy it Now'.

It's going on the Stealth 55-01. Anyone ever swapped a Skyline neck for Chicago neck?

what a GREAT looking neck!!! Kirk will have to do more than just sign it as I do not think it will fit.....I am sure he CAN get it to fit but it may be alot of work......

You guys with fretless Laklands: preferred string? I'm going to try DR Black Beauties. What string comes stock from the factory on 4-94 fretless's? The medium nickel Laklands?

yup - nickles unless Carl traded them for flats.......I am going to get my fretless coated (sometime!!!!) so I can use rounds....

MAY have a project in Merriville Indiana which will take me close to the Lakland factory (well, close enough) on the way so maybe I can drop my fretless and Blondie there for their checkup...

Well she's here, but I don't get to hear her until Monday when my tech gets her wired and setup. Anyway, here's my family portrait (although the JO, is going to see some changes once the BG is running....).

OK! I just got home from my gig. It's been crazy crazy busy lately. I have a rehearsal later today and I'm teaching all day on Monday, but Tuesday I should be able to FINALLY get the first Lick of the Month done! We're going to start it simple, but if anyone has any requests for anything, let me know. My apologies for the delay. Gig after gig after gig after gig...

no problemo!!!!

how about a nice polka riff???? you know...3 notes, no waiting!?:rollno:
