Thanks!
It's actually a 44-02 Deluxe I traded my Fender Am. Deluxe Jazz V for.
I really want something with a maple fretboard, and probably passive. Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome bass that I would probably only trade for another Lakland.

no problem.....nice quilt for a Skyline!!!

get a nice JO or DJ...might be just the fix for you! or maybe a Decade......some people really like those (fire suit on!)

well the Lakland elves (OK - John "Gecko 5") have been VERY busy!

this is the month where the sponsors have to renew (or not)....John has really worked out a few GREAT deals and we have some VERY special offerings in store for the month of September and the coming year thanks to all of his hard work and the generosity of our sponsors....

we need to get the LOG site more active so we may "entice" you to get more people there on a regular basis with giveaways etc....

stay tuned....more details near the end of August...

the LOG is not just for basses anymore!!!!:ninja:

I liked the Decades I played, but I wonder if the combination of the upper horn and the scale length on the fiver would've given me fits in the long run.... maybe they could let me use one for a year or two to try it out ;)

Coolness!!! I can't wait to see what's in store!

ahhhhh...e-mail [email protected] and see if they have any "rejects"...sometimes they do...may not be in 100% condition, but sometimes you get lucky!

When I bought my JO5 Indo-PLEK they had a whole stack of "used" cases.
He even threw one in.
Its not great, but it does the job.

We could maybe call September "Swag Giveaway Month".
One new sponsor, and possibly another.
Very generous with goodies for our supporting members.
Gotta love free stuff:D:D:D

pure excitement!
and you were keeping it secretive when we were settling everything about my order... not good to torture people like that [kidding smiley]
now, who's Lakland reindeer?

just got back from my 95 mile drive from band practice.....first full band one with the 55-02. We practice at a church that has a rig already (Peavey 700 something or other head with an SWR 410 and an SWR 18) Not my cup of tea by any means, but easier than carting a rig. Even through a rig I hated, I had incredible tone. Adjustments on the fly, no problem. Amazing, and everyone appreciated the OCD Pickguard. Good practice.
