I wouldn't worry about it. The couple of newer DJ5's I've played have been less round than the older ones I had, and VERY comfortable.

The annoying thing (for me) is that I had some $$$ saved up, and then I managed to go and get myself in a car accident where I was technically "at fault" and a whopping insurance excess fee put a stop to my new bass ideas, haha, but live and learn.

At least when I finally get my new 5er, the wait will make it seem even better.
I'm thinking of asking for donations as 18th Birthday/Christmas gifts, to help me out, last year I used that to help me get my Eden stuff...I like to scheme...heh heh. (There should be a shifty eyes emoticon)

It doesn't sound rough at all, I know that one can't always have everything handed to them on a plate, and that's what really annoys me, when I see on forums such as TB, spoilt kids whose parents get them what they want, when they want it.
/Rant.

you are welcome any time.....sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders....asking for $$$$ is a good thing, my son always asks for $$$$ for birthdays and Christmas...that way he gets what HE REALLY wants...

you are right....patience will make it play better when you get it!!!
