you guys make me blush......:o:cool:

Not sure if they changed it on the production models (Dougie, can you verify on yours?), but on the BG5 proto, it's 3.5" from the apex of the bridge to the nearest edge of the NP5.

same here....3.5"...the BG4 was 3.25.....BUT Gus is having his done locally (not by Lakland) so he can have whatever spacing he wants.....I wonder if the 1/4 inch changes the tone? also - kinda wonder why this spacing is this way....need to ask one of these days...just not a "pressing" issue...

why don't YOU ask it for an "ask Dan"? hmmm????

Man!!! There are some beautiful Laklands in the classifieds right now. Makes me feel so po':atoz:

I have a question. Has anyone here sent a bass to Pat Wilkins for a refinish? If so, how was the overall experience? Also, if you have, can you PM me a price? Thanks.

Markus has used Pat....Randy (Blondemix3) has used someone else.....PM them for prices....I do not remember what they were quoted.....I believe it was not too bad though...

It doesn't go in until Monday, so the update was in time! That extra 1/4 may add juuuusssstttt enough room for a Big Split. Hmmm....

IMO, yes!! The P pup placement is critical. The BG5 is 1/4" further toward the neck because of the 35" scale.
