My band posted a new tune and low budget video. Doesn't filmed in 2 hours and no expenses count as low budg???

The song was recorded a few weeks ago using my sonic blue BG thru an Aguilar Tone Hammer. The video is me lip syncing with the same bass.

Click on the Neon Trees link below or search Neon Trees "Calling My Name" on iTunes.

Sorry man, I couldn't resist. That's some serious sacrifice!

Very cool. I like low-budget videos, and the B&W classes it up, hehe. That Glaub sounds tasty!

PlekN!

I got my freshly Plekd JO5 back from the barn yesterday.
Just in time for a Friday night gig.

I highly recommend PlekN to U!

Its the optimum in playability and tone.

My JO5 never looked, played or sounded so good.
The effort to play my bass was reduced by at least 75%

They also buffed every scratch and swirl off the bass.

My hats off to Leo and Kirk.
Leo even comment about how well my bass turned out.
You guys did and outstanding job!!!

Tanks to You!!!

Update guys....found a DJ5 in White w/rosewood (what I wanted colour wise) and its only 9.45 lbs.

The store said they will match the price on the LPB with maple I saw going much cheaper than retail. Plus...throw in a padded bag and new strings.

Its a new bass....store owner says action is AMAZING.

What do ya think? I didnt know whether to test a MM Stingray 5 just in case, but they are £400-£500 more than this bass is, (because Ive got a really low offer pricematch).

Cheers!

Right...bit of a strange one. The bass was originally with the UK distributors and sold to stores back in March 08....so its been in the store, albeit looked after, for sometime.

In addition, its an 06....which means its almost 4 years old. It makes me think 'why hasnt this sold'...

Would an 06 DJ5 be the Aero pickups? What else would be different?

Basically, the other DJ5 I was looking at, the LPB, maple neck, 10lb'er, was an 08.

Ive no idea which would be better....I dont think shops should be selling an 06 bass anywhere near retail.

Thanks

I am not familiar with how things work in the UK, but I bought a brand new lakland from bass central in late '09 that was an early '08 model. Eventhough it was made in early '08 it was not plek'd until mid '09. I am making assumptions here, but maybe with the cost of a lakland in the UK, along with rough economic times.....it wouldn't be a stretch to assume it would take a while to move something like this.

I say go for it. Lakland will stand by their product, but the truth is...every lakland I have owned has been BULLETPROOF!

Also, in your previous post, you made it sound like you were saving a TON of cash......brand new bass......great deal.....Lakland.....all signs say BUY IT!

Sounds great - like the tune and the look on the video too!

What are you you using to transport your DB 750?
Is it keeping it safe?

I never thought I would do it, but I am selling my baby....my BG4 is going up on the block as it is now redundant with something new :ninja: I am actually kinda torn, but excited none-the-less. Jedi...we are still on for our deal as well ;) you will like this.

Hmm, no I agree its a good price.

But, there is an 08 LPB with maple for the sam price incl new strings and Lakkie gig bag, or the White with rosewood thats 06 for the same price.

I think id much rather have a 'newer' model...hmmm.

Thanks
