figured out how to use the photobucket app on my iPhone while hanging out at the hospital this week.

My daughter will be discharged in a bit, thanks for the well wishes. She's had her gall bladder removed and should do fine now.

Here's some cell ph pics of my 8.5lb Franken-fretless: brand new body (w/ small finish crack on backside) new bridge and strap pins, '07 neck (made new by Carl) and tuners, Bart pups and pre from '96 or so.

Check out the crazy zigzag grain above the pickups.

I was a little iffy about the pickguard early on but it's grown on me.

Next week it get's an Audere Classic 4 band. Vol stacked on blend, Treb, Hi Mid, Lo Mid, Bass. Friends Pete & Cindy Biltoft of Vintage Vibe Guitar are back from vacation and it's time to do something about those pickups ... maybe something in a split coil based on a P-90 kinda thing ... we'll see.

Should I email him now? Or wait until it get's a little closer to the the delivery date? (Or even after he cashes our deposit checks ) I don't want to bug them, I'm sure they have more important things to do than

I already have a 5 string active with rounds and a jazz with flats (that the LOG will be replacing) so I would like to stick with flats on this one. Of course, if I could get it all set up with flats to start with that would be ideal...

Thank you so much for posting this pic.... First off, gorgeous JO there! Second, I just ordered a white pickguard for my natural/maple 44-01 and was trying to envision exactly how the colors would mesh. This photo hits it for me!

Hey guys, do you think it is possible to fit US tuner to a skyline? because I really like how the tuners "stick out" more on the US JO. I think the tuners are made by hipshot, but which model should I take?? HB3's??? cheers!
