Can someone give an Opinion about the Output from the 55-02 (LH-3 Pickups and Electronics) compared to the 55-01 with the Bartolini MK-1?
Are they roundabout equal in their Output?
Have my 55-01, wich I love and now a nice 55-02 Deluxe (Cherryburst with Quilted Maple Top and Maple Neck-/Fretboard) on order. Will arrive in a few Days.

In Memoriam
I'm sure many of you guys already know this bass, so forgive the pirated photos til I get unlazied enough to take my own.
Bob Glaub 5 number 0000 just landed here today!
Some initial thoughts:
It's sweet, I think.
The strings are deeee-ead! So, that needs addressed; along with setup to
my prefs.
The striping on the ash body is pimp.
The neck has uber thin wiped on finish, dunno if it's nitro.
The f/b is a very nice birdseye.
Small vintage frets, and the typical Lakland USA neck: a little deeper than
the Skylines, and I like it.
The neck finish has aged to a much darker tint than the photos below, which is nice.
Been a good while since I played a 35" scale, a little odd right now.
8.5lbs; I wouldn't want it any lighter.
The Nord NP5 kicks it, I'm familiar with that in several other basses and recommend it highly.
If the upcoming, seasick LOG basses are this good, y'all are in for a treat, for sure.

I will add this, Chef was a great guy to deal with on this deal. Thanks for making it all work out bro! Everytime I see those pics and realize its gone, I wanna cry. The BG5 Bench Report:
I put new Dunlop Nickels on.
I thought it was someone here in Lakland Land who told me Dunlop nickels were long enough to string thru the body. They're not. Well...they are, but you end up with the outer wraps at the end of the string falling short of the nut: no good.
So, they're thru the bridge. Boo. I've never heard any diff I could tell, but I think thru the body creates a better witness point at the saddle. So there.
The was zero tension on the trussrod. As a testament to how stout the neck is, this did not result in crazy relief. I set relief where I like it-which didn't take much tension. Set string height where I like it (1/16 off the frets at last position). If you want stoopid low action, this bass would support that.
Then set intonation.
Overall, nothing was too far off where I like it, but the strings were as close to following neck radius as I like.
Set pickup height where I wanted it, as it didn't quite follow neck radius how I like either.
Plugged her in.
Walkabout/Henry 8x8.
Big, fat, clean ash/maple P bass.
Dang, I really like that NP5 pickup.
Can't wait to get to the job Friday night.
