One of these days i'd like to send my 44-60 to him for a refinish.
Here's a pic of one of my long time favorite finishes. It's not a Lakland, but if i'm not mistaken, it's still Pat's work(correct me if i'm wrong). But it's somewhat similar to yours, minus the burst and a bit darker. But this is the finish I've always drooled over. Was never sure if it'd look as good with a RW board, but couldn't look too bad

Holy Crap, Markus! I was wrong about the dark finish and rosewood board. That looks frickin' awesome! I'm a sucker for blocks and binding, though. I think that one is better looking than your Mai Tai!

Wow!! That is stunning, Markus. Though sometimes I think you could photograph a turd on your "bass floor" and make it look shiny and delicious.

My DJ came back from Carl and Leo today, and it plays like a dream. Frets are now perfectly even and the action can get much lower than I'd ever want it. I'm so glad to be a Lakland Owner. Leo has been helpful and great every time I've talked to him, and Carl's work is impeccable; these two guys deserve all the accolades they receive.
