I put my Decade up for sale. I just am not bonding with it at all. It sounds great but I am just not comfortable on it. If someone is interested let me know and we can work out a LOG discount.

Or if someone wants the Decade AND a rare LPB Skyline Glaub with Jazz neck I would trade both for a US Glaub.

I agree...pre-Lakland i would "troll" GC and/or Sam Ash every other weekend or so just to play different basses...now, do not step foot in one unless I "really" need strings or something minor....

You know, lately I have been telling "new prospective players" to not bother buying a $100 to $200 bass...I often tell them, the nicer the instrument (if they can afford it) the more they will want to play and the better they will get...also that "good basses" are often easier to play than cheap basses....

...like you I yearn to play when I am on the road etc and cannot....that is a good thing!

I prefer Aston Martins or Maybachs.....like speed BUT like room as well...I DO have a family afterall ( :) )

Carl has a "tough" for adding the passive tone control (I assume that is what you mean).....he would be your best source to either doing it or telling you how to have your tech do it...

So I walked in to Premier Bass here in Colorado today just to look around and play a couple of basses. They have an Inca silver Skyline Duck Dunn, and I've never liked that particular color. I''ve also yet to bond with a P-bass, and tend to prefer active basses, so I was a little skeptical. I've always wondered about the Duck Dunn model, though, so I gave it a try. Long story short, Dan is ordering me one in CAR. :)
