The wife and were talking about the possibility of starting a bass specialty store in Houston. I really miss selling gear and love teaching people about it. I wonder if Lakland allows multiple vendors in a city...

COOL!
Hope ya do!
Can always use another Store to frequent...hehehe :)
Owning a bass store would be awesome.
Hope ya get it off the ground SOON! :hyper:

Just spent 3/4 hour enjoying this baby.
Blowing out my eardrums and slurping some morning java.
She has been under house arrest in the case lately, with my recent flipping going on.
This bass was my intro to the Lakland Brand.
And man I love this bass!!
Truly a keeper!!
Viva 44-07's!!! heh heh heh!! ;)

yesss sir reee they sure are my friend!!
Had a blast playing this one earlier.
They should have kept making these.
I REALLY would love a Ferrari red 44-07 with BEM board and mhs.
And or a black with ebony board and mhs. with the chrome chi sonic buckers and chrome hardware....baaaaaad pair of basses right there.

Your "mai tai" on off is killer for sure! :bassist:

So, this is my first TB post, and I am proud to show my new Lakland 55-94. This is one killer bass. I bought it new from Bass Central, they are great people over there. Unbelievable tone, feel and playability. I am a happy man.

Also, how do I become a Lakland Owners Group Member?

She's absolutely lovely. I knew I should have asked to play this one when I was in there last month. LOL.

I live just across town from Bass Central and try to go touch and fondle all the Lakies from time to time. Oh yeah...and harass Grasshopper and the guys....:D

Whoa, that's the way to make an entrance! Great bass, man, congrats! Welcome to TB and the LOG, enjoy.

Well heck, I better show off my other Lakland, 55-01 Deluxe. I bought this a few months ago, and it is also incredible. All this bass did was make me realize the following:

1.) Bass is awesome
2.)Laklands are top-notch instruments
3.) Now I need a US Lakland

It sounds great, not as good as the US 55-94, but still great. The feel of the neck and overall build quality is ~7/10, whereas my 55-94 is close to a 10/10.
