^ That is what I was thinking i would do if I were so blessed to own it. Though, I can't really decide which one I would switch to. Maybe just white pearl would do the trick.

I just replaced the Neo-punch pups in my Duck Dunn with Duncan Quarter Pounders and it really open up the tone. I used these pups years ago in my P-Basses and loved them. I recorded the Neopunch before the swap and the QP after and compared the tones. The Neopunch pups are truly a very vintage lower output and darker than the Duncan QP's. Rolling off the tone with the QP's I am still able to get the darker vintage tone of the Neopunch pups. The entire QP sounds fuller, thick lows, smooth mids and and crisp highs. This has me thinking of doing the same to my 44-60.

Sorta off topic here, but what's up with the LOG? I joined it, and there's not much really going on there. I wanted to start several topics, but I honestly didn't know where on the board to post. Anybody else experience this? Maybe it just needs an overhaul??

I have a rosewood board with the BEM dots on the Scheff and HB. It really does look awesome!
I like the Chi singles in the single case. I think ALL single coil Chi's should have been placed in a narrow single case.

I think the decade and HB look better with bigger shells personally!

Interesting. My NeoPunch in my Glaub are aggressive and high output. My favorite pickup! From what I Reiner with QP... They were a little scooped. Different strokes!

Wow, I'm with Markus on this one. I've always read that the Quarter Pounder P pickup is bright, this just confirms it for me--cause the neo Hanson P has some pretty aggressive upper mids to my ear, and according to many others.

But if it works for ya, that's all that matters.:cool:
