Had my 60th birthday party yesterday and the infamous master luthier Carl Pedigo Graced us with his presence!

Not sure if we were talking basses here or not!

Regardless... It was great to see him and he told my musician friends a few great stories!

There was one of these available here in NL a few weeks ago for a decent price and I'm really bummed I didn't go for it. I really like the looks of those. On the other hand I doubt it would've gotten a lot of playtime with my USA JO5 as a competitor.

I've played a few shoreline series (made in Japan) and they were very very nice!

Almost came home from Japan with one at one point in time but I thought my wife would kill me.
