Sweet darkstar hollow body on reverb.
After what seemed like a forever-long search, O have finally gotten a 55-64. Is the pickup an actual Nordstrand, or is it proprietary?

Hmmm that is not that far from me. I really don't need another 4 string jazz bass though.
..... And your excuse is what again???? I think I missed an excuse there somewhere...
Wander over to Cincinnati from Virginia? No time, no money, no need. Plus I've got good US fender jazz that I've barely touched since getting my HB30. But I may wander over there anyway.

I would have already bought this if it was closer to what I'd really want...as it is I am fighting the urge to buy it simply on the principal that it is a smoking deal.
They are letting Laklands go cheap! All their used Fenders are overpriced.[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
How about a 44aj for $679?

It's definitely a US neck: quartersawn, BEM fret inlays...we'll see what they say. I did have an issue where one of the magnets on one of the DS's was loose in the cavity, but I've fixed that. It's a tremendous sound.
I dont doubt neck is US made, but I dont think it is quartersawn, based on the grain pattern.
