Update on this project: Neck pickup on the way as long as new pickup rings that will fit TV Jones pickups and the hollowbody routes.

I added a Hipshot bass xtender. I checked with Lākland first about the order - ½" Ultralight in Chrome. The whole was tight and I had to sand it a bit to make it fit. The other "issue" is that the shaft is chrome, while the other shafts look aluminum. Not a big deal and barely noticeable. I tried to swap in the original aluminum shaft but it was too short. Surprisingly, my OCD is not bothering me about it. Just curious what others thought of this. Here are some pictures.

I used to have a similar extender in my US DJ, but that was a match to the US shafts. In fact I think I still have that BT-1 (vintage gear, not ultralite) in my parts drawer.
I'd be bothered if I were you, I would go and buy the matching set from Hipshot. But that doesn't affect anyone else but me.

I've done this before with a discontinued model - you can send the original non-extender to Hipshot, and they can build an extender out of it.

Like I said, I would contact Hipshot to get the matching tuners to that extender. But I've been known to go the distance to make my instruments look a certain way.
You seem to be very detail-oriented as well (writing Lakland as Lākland gives it away).

Looks like it's the same process as @Thom Fioriglio is going through. The tuners on all Skylines are the same.

I've thought about the Dtuner for a long time, but couldn't do it precisely because it doesn't match.
And now I have a 5-string sibling for the DJ so I don't care
