Let's spread some musical misinformation

Playing air bass provides you with the best tone.
My airbass vanished into thin air.

A performance featuring electric instruments and synthesizers can be called "acoustic" or "unplugged" as long as the bassist and at least one guitarist is sitting down, and the drummer isn't too loud.

Vocalists, keyboard players and additional guitarists are allowed to stand. If you want to play bass standing up at an "acoustic" performance, you have to use a double bass.

Well now there's an app for that! You asked for it now it is here, The makers of Snark clip tuners have just introduce a new app that works hand and hand with any of their snark products, what does it do you ask? Well the app downloads into your current snark product and it becomes are you sitting down?...... amp modeling wireless di pre-amp no longer do you need your di units Sans amp of VT bass di, and in addition as I mention it is a wireless so no more bulky wireless packs duct taped to your strap and any wires going to your amp, just your Snark clip on tuner! The apps is currently only available to the pro players market an hasn't yet been released to the general bass population, but the retail price for the app this reporter found was just $149.99 + a annual small service charge of $27.95 to keep it purring like a kitten. Stay to for updates and a product demo review coming soon. RTS signing off from NAMM 2016

Drummers like Bonham, Baker, Moon, etc. instead of Ringo would've made the Beatles better

Wyman and Watts were just average players

"II" wasn't Zeppelin's best album

Terry Kath, Peter Cetera and Danny Seraphine couldn't have been one of the BOAT Power Trio's

Real Bass players don't play short-scales or use picks

Except this isn't misinformation in my opinion--seriously--it's not their best album.
My favorite is Physical Graffiti--and RObert Plant agrees.

But that's opinions.

It would be misinformation if it isn't your actual opinion--which is possible...

Good point - Along those lines, I would add that our opinions meaning anything to most people is misinformation in itself... including those of Robert Plant ;)

Robert Plant's legal first name is actually Bob. He prefers Bobbie. Management wrote Robert on contracts and on albums as they thought it sounded better and thought that since they weren't going with James Page someone had to have a more mature sounding name. Bob always resented that it was he that had to live with this. His misgivings were well founded. In 1993 Bob Plant had to assert that Robert Plant was not his stage name but his actual legal name in court or lose full term claims on his copyrights that were up for renewal.
