That's a known fact, because non-smokers who stuck a lit cigarette between the strings all became renowned musicians.A survey was done on smokers who are bass players and the finding was that, bass players who smoked and stuck the lit cigarette between the strings never followed through and became professional musician! Another reason to dump habit
It is worse than that. No longer will you be able to buy a set of strings specified in inches for either length or diameter. Instead, strings will be labelled by wave length in argon at standard temperature and pressure. Good luck to Europeans playing fanned fret instruments!As of January 2017, it'll be illegal in most European countries to sell strings specified in inches.
Counting slows me down.You never ever need to count when playign music--if you do it causes you to speed up
