A survey was done on smokers who are bass players and the finding was that, bass players who smoked and stuck the lit cigarette between the strings never followed through and became professional musician! Another reason to dump habit
That's a known fact, because non-smokers who stuck a lit cigarette between the strings all became renowned musicians.
Roasting the tonewood is the best way to enhance the flavor of your sound, unless you want it to taste like chicken. If this is the case, you should consider smoking the wood before finishing it with a garnish of fresh herbs, a dash of balsamic vinegar, and a nice flambé.
Be warned though, you may suffer serious burns, incur a hefty fine, and even a stretch in the big house, if you attempt to do this in a smoke-free zone. Discretion is strongly advised. And, in any event, always have a fire-extinguisher handy and a foolproof escape plan.

So-called "true" Norwegian black metal is not true at all - it's just a cheap ripoff of this.
As of January 2017, it'll be illegal in most European countries to sell strings specified in inches.
It is worse than that. No longer will you be able to buy a set of strings specified in inches for either length or diameter. Instead, strings will be labelled by wave length in argon at standard temperature and pressure. Good luck to Europeans playing fanned fret instruments!
In 1979 the famous Kuala Lumpur born neo bossa nova 12 string bass player Nickson Van Der Brackwürst released an album called "No Strings Attached" featuring 42 Minutes and 12 Sec of pure silence.
