Low Down Sound Club, Part Four

So, what did you two come up with for a potential cabinet? Design, drivers, dimensions, etc. ?
I did ask him a small 210s, less than 16inch wide. Depth and height won't matter. Weight less than 50lbs is fine with me, vertical, not to expensive around $600 ( Not firm on this price ) or less. I'll let him decide about speakers, and decide about 2 way or 3 way.
What i really need from the cab is Deep low, punch and clean highs as possible a 10 speaker can provide.
I did answer his questions
I think that's it.
So I'm waiting.

You know, you aren't that far a drive from Myrtle Beach, SC. There's a really great cab builder there who would make offer anything to your heart's desire and................ take your money and run! :woot:

Good thing you are dealing with Don, instead; he is the best!

Just gigged an LDS cab that I purchased in the classifieds here (primarily for use in my studio and the occasional lower volume gig) for the first time last night, with a very high energy modern rock band.

Totally floored by the experience, my Berg NV425 was immediately listed for sale: arguably the best live sound I've ever had onstage, tons of volume on tap (I actually had to turn down from my usual Berg master volume to avoid burying the drummer, who hits like Josh Freese), and the easiest schlep ever.

The cab actually weighs noticeably less than the combined weight of my pedal board and class D head :roflmao:

Anyone happen to know Don's contact info? I'd just like to shoot him a quick email thanking him for making such a phenomenal piece of gear, and making the gigging life of a session musician MUCH easier ;)

Currently talking with Don about a 208 cab using Faital Pro 8PR200's. Diagonal alignment. Single handle recessed middle of top. Tilt back handle. Will be stackable. 8 ohm. Start with one, add two more down the line if needed. Should make for a very versitile stack, from small to the gorilla in the corner. 6 of the 8PR200's should keep up and or out perform a fair amount of 610's.

Excited.
