Low Down Sound Club, Part Four

Just picked this up today, ordered from GCs used site. It's a 3 way 12", not sure of much more than that since it's used. It sounds pretty good, a bit thin in the lows compared to my GK 410 but the quality of everything is great. I'm thinking about contacting Don about doing a 210 or two in the not too distant future.

That's what I thought too but then the LDS sicker on the back would be upside down... I'm a 410 guy, cut me some slack huh?

Oh man it's awful news that LDS closed down! My 15/6 is definitely the best cabinet I've ever owned, I kind of was hoping to get a second one for full 4ohm action one of these days, but I guess I was too slow to order!

I may have to get a nice 210 to add to the stack instead.

You could have one of many other fearful builders make you another one if Don is for sure closed

There was something about that about 3 months ago but his site is still up and someone said they were just talking to him about a new cab. Where did you get this info?

The handles are also higher up toward the ports. Maybe this was just designed like this? Or am I a total noob to everything that's not a 410?

It's possible that's one or a mirrored pair.
Anyway
Play it with the horns up, and tote it however works best :--)

Last thing I heard was that Don was seriously slowing down, but does still take some build commissions here and there. Would certainly be worth checking in with him.

And yeah, horn goes up! That probably was a mirrored top cab

Don is still going. I just received this from him this week and it is amazing! We did a single faital Pro 400 and it nails the sound I was looking for, Plus I love the looks! I would love to have another

Thanks! I love the tweed and oxblood. Don did fantastic workmanship and it looks even better in person. Sounds amazing so far, and it's just breaking in. It goes really well with the Trace Elliot V4 too.
