Hey guys. I'm not in touch with Don as closely as I was earlier in the year, but did just talk with him. The bad news is , he's had some family issues (the death of his mother in-law and a sick parent) that has bottled him up for the last couple of weeks.

The good news (for you guys, not for him) is, as a result, he has postponed his trip to Seattle (that was scheduled for next week and was planned to last for a couple of weeks) for a while, so he is already back to work and close to cranking some cabs out.

He is 'internet clueless' (using his own words) and asked me to post up for him, which I am glad to do. So, stuff will be rolling about starting probably next week.

That's good news, since I gave him my deposit May 24 for a 8 week delivery. He has been shipping them this week for 4 or 5 weeks now. I understand everyone has issues, but an honest answer to when am I going to get my cabinets shouldn't too much to ask. Tell me 2 months more, but ship them when you tell me you will. Doesn't seem to be too much to ask.

I am sure it will be worth the wait and Don seems like a great guy. Sorry he is having family health issues.

Yup, I got you beat by a few days, but I already knew from this thread that he is a quality craftsman and won't flake! Knew he was an optomist too. The guy who started his own thread sayin "8 weeks" was cute! Needless to say I have not sold my other cabs yet. Kind of funny folks quote 8 weeks.
Might be selective memory. He said he was at least 8-10 weeks out to me in May so I figured 3 months at the earliest.
I know it will be here soon but not planning on any gig date etc.

I agree that while Don is putting out total quality work, his entire production schedule has been shot to heck for the last 6 months (only most recently due to the family issues). Just posting an explanation, surely not an excuse.

Personally, I think its important to remember Don is only human. He is building quality cabs, and while he is taking perhaps longer than we'd like, he IS a one man operation. Aside from the over estimation of the timing of builds, he has ALWAYS been completely honest, forthright and trustworthy.

Just wanted to say that for the record.

I would love to hear a review of those 1 way 3015HO cabs....especially how they compare to something I am familiar with, like the nEarful LDS 15/6 2-way, the
Schro 15+?????
