Markbass Bass Multiamp

been thinking about this one. what cab would do 1000watts at 8 ohm?( not that i'm going in this direction, but am just curious)I would most likely use this with 2 8ohm cabs. one hooked up to each channel. does the amp allow you to have on speaker running clean and all the effects to another?
Also are there any pedals that the amp doesn't replace right now?

do the effects actually sound better than the other mutli's on the market, like the behinger vbass, and utopia b300?
does it sound better than going through an ipad for effects?
how easy is it to use live? i'm assuming you can hook up any midi pedal and preprogram.

how is the software? is it buggy? or does it work as advertise.

I tested the stereo through this:

Invalid Link Removed

And the shop was shaking with 2 level. A bit too much for me. Lol.

There's only stereo option and bi amp option. I don't think you can put clean and effects separately unless taking a di. The new firmware has a splitter but i'm not sure why it does because there is no manual for it and I haven't tested it yet.

As for the effects ..There's pretty much every MarkBass pedal there and they soind fantastic! Totally crushes ipad..

The envelope filter is one of the best I've heard.

Don't like the delay though and the fact that fuzz is made of 3 different patches (dist, eq, comp)

U can hook any midi board. And for me the interface is simple and when I program a board full of presets and banks, there's nothing better doing live. I assume!

I've heard complaints about the software not running on some mac os.. But other than that, it's a simple program to use just like the amp itself.

I've been using this amp for awhile now and it's great. I think the effects are real good or at least the ones that I'm into. The midi pedal makes the switch while playing out a breeze. I found myself always messing around with this thing to see what other sounds I can come up with. I'll say it again if you want to eliminate your pedal board this is it. I have the mono version which is plenty of power. Worth a look.

I bit the bullet and got a good deal on a 2014 Multiamp. I just did the upgrade to V3.

I also have the Tech21 VT Bass 500... they are both really different, but great at the same time. There are more than enough features to make anyone happy!

I do think their control pedal is a little over priced... anyone look at anything like the Behringer FCB or something similar?

I use Chrome on WIN10 on my PC and safari on my Mac.. no issues Screenshot from my Chrome on PC.. I have 16 gig or RAM which may help
