The two Mayones Jabba (overgifted) brothers...
My imaginary friend "Vincent" and I sit around doing that kind of stuff all the time. The faries and trolls all say I play better than him. The unicorns disagree.

I used to have an imaginary friend, but he said I was boring and ran away.My imaginary friend "Vincent" and I sit around doing that kind of stuff all the time. The faries and trolls all say I play better than him. The unicorns disagree.
I do not own a Jabba, but I do have the little brother. Not just a jazz bug... A Jabba bug. Once you play a Jabba it's hard to play any other jazz bass.
Yes, it very shiny![]()
only a salary increase can help the GAS (and a understanding wife)lol, man this ain't helping my GAS.
The drummer is Simon Phillips.talk about drummer with too much stuff. who's on kit? why the roto toms? was there an 80's tribute section of the night that warranted that kit? FFS when i lived in LA i went to that club, that stage is not big.
Bass looks gorgeous, love that stain.
I used to have Jabba. 10 pounder of very balanced tone. Highly consistent across entire spectrum.
Why did you let it go?
1. Heavy - 10.5 lbs.
2. Made me realize I'm devoted 4 string player.
3. Too much $$$ into it to haul around without me being paranoid over putting a nick or dent. I consider instrument as tool for me. BTW - toolbox in my garage has the same tools for 15 years now and all are well taken care of.
4. Too pretty for my ugly face - it was stealing all thunder from me. That's the real reason.

Saw him tonight with Hiromi. Wasn't playing that bass - was playing one that looked like the older Smith style body. Sounded great, and very different trio with him rather than Anthony Jackson.

I saw Anthony play with Hiromi shortly before his stroke. Man, I hope he is doing ok. Also glad to see
that a guy like Hadrian is stepping into his shoes for this tour. I wish them both the very best of luck!
( like they need it )
