yikes thats my dream cabinet set up

already got the 2 x 15, workin on getting the other big mamma:ninja:

I just realized I never posted to the MB club. Here it is. Been playing Mesa since 1991...bought the 1st 400 and both cabs back then, and recently added the 2nd 400 head. I just love my amp! Someday soon I'm going to replace with new tolex, I'm thinking cream or tan colored.

Here's my humble contribution:

Walkabout scout 12 combo!

Love the tone and portability!!

Goes so well with the ray and the pedals!

I'll get a custom cab once! or maybe another ext cab for the WK

Gah I can't decide what to do for my next cab. I only have a 610 to try locally. The powerhouse 1200 seems enticing. I also want to A/B the 810 and 412.

Am I a complete idiot for considering a day trip to LA to go to the Hollywood store and trying them all out?

I did get to try a BB750 thru a Powerhouse 1000, but a few years ago. I remember immediately falling in love, but that's about it. My car is waayy too small. ;)

Adding a Deisel 215 to my arsenal. Ampeg is still winning the gear game at my house, but Mesa's making a comeback.

Woohoo! Glad to hear it.

What's the consensus on the PH1000/PH1200 cabs among you all? I know I want some kind of big mesa cab but I really can't find a way to play them all without going to Hollywood. I hate the internet because I get really positive reviews or really negative reviews on them. They go against comb filtering, enclosure size, and all that engineering mumbo jumbo ;), but the people who like them say they are amazing and those who don't say they are garbage... how does it compare to the 810 or 412?

A nice one came up on the TB classifieds in vintage powerhouse looks with a custom grill and it is at a good price... I'm close to pulling the trigger!

Howdy,

I am a worship/praise bassist with rock roots. After playing with a bunch of different heads and cabs, I have landed on Mesa. I have the BB 750 over a 4x10 and 1x15 roadready. I can't imagine anything sounding better than this, but I'm going to try the M-Pulse 600 just in case. I play clean, never touch that overdrive, but oh does this rig pump clean powerful bass. Gorgeous.

Can I join the club?
