Woohoo! Glad to hear it.

What's the consensus on the PH1000/PH1200 cabs among you all? I know I want some kind of big mesa cab but I really can't find a way to play them all without going to Hollywood. I hate the internet because I get really positive reviews or really negative reviews on them. They go against comb filtering, enclosure size, and all that engineering mumbo jumbo , but the people who like them say they are amazing and those who don't say they are garbage... how does it compare to the 810 or 412?

A nice one came up on the TB classifieds in vintage powerhouse looks with a custom grill and it is at a good price... I'm close to pulling the trigger!

I almost bought a PH 1200 last year. Since you've got the Titan, I think you might like one, they pair up well. I think the bad reviews come from people trying to use inadequet power through them. They soak up power and spit it out tight. The 215 I'm getting is local, and from a TBer, too good of a deal to pass. Still wanting a 412 in the long run though.

Well, just got home with my new (to me) Vintage Powerhouse 810. Picked it up locally for $700, and it's in like new condition. A local player traded it in on an Ampeg SVT810, so I was able to buy it for what they gave him for it. It's only a year old.

It's a bit of a tank, but loading it into the back of my Expedition is actually a breeze, thanks to the skid rails and the handles on the bottom of the cab.

Now I gotta pick up a head for it. Time to make a trip down to American Guitar and Band in the Twin Cities in the next couple weeks. They had a Titan V-12, a Carbine, a 400+, and an M-Pulse 600 there last time I was there.

That's kinda what I'm thinking too.

But I really want to try out the Carbine, too, especially after reading the review in BGM. Sounds like it might be right up my alley, tone-wise.

I was just coming in here to say that I ordered a new VPH810. Can't wait for it... but who knows how long it will be this time. I'm looking forward to hear how you like it. I played through the 610 again and I loved it... and I was trying to decide between the 610 and 810 (300 dollar difference...) and I figured I might as well go all out... Haha, can't wait for it though. Hope it works out great for you!

NICE!!! Can't wait to get down to the Cities and try the heads out. They had an 810 there like mine last time I was there, so that'll work great for trying stuff out accurately.

I wanted to get it custom on the cab, but realized it would look weird without it on my head... I wonder if they can be switched out?

I do love the old school logo though.

Yup. You know there's a Mesa Bass dealer just down Hwy 51 from you, right? There's not a lot of those in Texas. No, I don't work there, just passing on info

I've had 10's and 15's since about oh...1987. When I gave the Fathom 2x12 (M6), a listen, I realized I HAD to go back to 12's. IMHO, they are the best for bringing the fretless up to the forefront in a very loud rock context.

The amps are really two separate rigs. I use them for very different gigs. I have been trying to figure out how to run them together, though.

Haha, but i've NEVER seen a 412 there or online! might i ask how old and how much it was?

I have the BB750 and i'm really thinking about upgrading to the TitanV12. Not until i get me a Mesa cabinet though. There's not many in Texas.

Yup. I snagged it almost the moment it came in the door. I knew it was on the way. A really nice Powerhouse 8x10 was sitting right next to it. It might still be there.
