Haven't had it long. it's not as small as some micro heads but is much more solid feeling. I tried a GK MB 500 and it seemed very fragile. My bass fingers can deal with these knobs easily and the old school metal box appeals to me. Still only 3lbs.
It sounds great and stays clean at a respectable volume. the Drive is subtle and pleasant, it adds a little grease to the tone not overdrive per se. If the D.I. Passes the test tonight I will be completely satisfied as long as it stays reliable.

I think Verrellen may have just won the show with this .....
5-Watt amp head and 1x10 cab proto. Little studio or bedroom shredder...

At Verrellen, it has the 'DOOM' factor! ;)

Coming from Rev DOOM myself, id say this is the most DOOM rig in this thread.

I just have to say, that the fact these mini rig threads even using the word DOOM, isnt quite right. Im willing to bet that most who posted here wouldnt even want to play the actual genre DOOM for whatever reason. These threads should more be labeled as small/nano/mini rigs, big sounds or something. A rig of DOOM should be a rig, whether big or small, used for DOOM.

And even then DOOM is about back breaking cabs or at least large/loud cabs. cause some of these new cabs, like the dually certainly arent heavy, but most certainly are loud.

Now back to these most awesome mini rigs that I love looking at and thinking "WOW! this guys entire set up is half the weight of one of my cabs."

Rev DOOM out.

Rev DOOM out.

I guess I am now interested - is DOOM referring to something other than something utterly powerful? Is it one of the 6,000,000 sub genres of metal or something entirely different?

Sorta. But at the same time, often not. Ask here to know more. Though it is utterly powerful.

I'm a bit surprised that you hang out on the amps subforum and don't know about it.
