Mini Rigs of Doom Four

Does this qualify? :p:
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
(Since the picture was taken I unmuted the horn on the active PA speaker and instead cut some high frequencies (on the BEQ700 and PA Eq). I also raised the PA speaker vertically, so I could have room for Behringer Tube Ultragain Mic 100 and Behringer BEQ700 on top of the combo beside it. I'll update the picture next time I'll get to our rehearsal space.)

Signal path (highlighted always on components):
Ibanez Mikro (with EMG Geezer Butler pickups)>> EHX Black Finger (always on) > Boss LS-2 In (Boss MT-2 > EHX Tube Zipper (used as fuzz))> Loop A + (Joyo Orange Juice> Harley Benton California TrueTone)> Loop B) Boss LS-2 Out> Zoom B3 > Boss FV-50H >> Trace Elliot GP75SM 130W 15" (via Effect Send)>> Behringer Tube Ultragain Mic 100 > Behringer BEQ700>> Active 345W 12" PA speaker with horn Behringer Eurolive B212D

Ummm, that is very cool, but like some of us, you also qualify for this thread, myself and @Bugeyed Earl are proud members LOL

How would you describe the tone of the Barefaced One10 cab?
I'd say you get a fuller and deeper bass tone and more volume than you'd expect from a cabinet this size (Barefaced's M.O. seems to be about high excursion drivers). It's tweeterless so there is no harshnes - and not much sparkle - although the single 10 does go high enough to make the upper mids and highs smooth and clear. To me it has a more vintage-y, darker sound rather than a hifi, modern sound. It can take a decent amount of power (Barefaced says 250W, and up to 500W if played cleanly) and you can also get speaker distortion from it if you push it. I didn't buy it for that but, if you were going for that kind of sound in a loud rock band, I'd bet the larger XXX10 series cabinets would be great choices, especially with a good tube head. But I bought it for lower volume needs (trying to start a small acoustic-ish group) and the reports I saw in the Barefaced megathread made me think it could be a great choice for that kind of situation.

If you haven't seen the Barefaced megathread, there's a huge amount of info in there and I also remember seeing a pretty large thread on the One10 itself.

Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0 with Eden Nemesis NSP210 fitted with Hartke HyDrive 10"
The cab is 500W at 4ohm and its sealed
This setup is going to be paired with Hartke LH1000 and Eden D410XLT for extra power :D

Question for you Mini Rig of Doomers, I just started using a 2x10 cabinet (flipped on its side so they are over/under) should I use an amp stand or anything (to tilt maybe)? I was thinking it did but a lot of pictures here have the amps directly on the ground.

I have been using one for years.
My current band is a bit more conscious of stage appearance/presence so I bought a black towel that I put over it so it is essentially out of sight.

Same here. :) We used to use the crates to hold power and speaker cables, now that I'm a single act a lot I use them to hold my amp higher. I bought black fabric from a local craft store and use it to cover the crates. I have so few cables I haul them in a 22" rolling luggage.

I've read hockey pucks are good. I may get two to slide under the front.

I found some dense packing/shipping foam at work. I cut it into two little blocks (about 1 inch tall by about 4 inches across) and wrapped them a few times in black duct tape. Tried them out at practice last night and seemed to work out pretty well. Light weight and easy to fit in a gig bag so I think I have a solution.
