Hey DWBass, are those Yamahas 10s or 12s?
I tried a Yamaha single 10 a while back and was seriously impressed.

! Don't know, when I tried one in the shop it distorted at low volume as well with a passive jazz low E tuned to D. It wasn't so impressive.![]()
except for metal!

They are the 1x10's! Got the cabs and head during MF's blowout! Best investment I ever made so far!
If that cab distorted at low volume, it may either have had a bad driver or something was wrong with the amp. Mine can handle a solid 250w per! I've gigged with both cabs and had plenty of volume available!

+1!+1 Those Yamaha 1x10's are some very good cabs, IME/IMHO, and that was one smokin' deal when MF was blowing them out!![]()

The "mini" part is just the middle 2x12. It's got wheels. I've never actually had to use the entire rig live. Test runs have nearly nocked my unconscious though.
Here's my current mini-rig:

Really diggin this rig. I went from an iAmp800+NL-210 to this, and I really am quite happy I did. The combination is magical!
Hey did you have the "John Myung" mod done to that Triaxis?
John used one of those during the 90's.

Well, might be too big for the Mini rigs of doom, but to small for the big rigs of doom... Not sure where to put it.
I just got it yesterday though so I got to show it off to everyone.
