Misconstrued Lyrics!

My ex-girlfriend used to have a down and out (at the time) guitarist friend of ours living on her couch.
All this cat would buy from the grocery store was eggs and bread.

On nights neither of us had a gig we would usually have a little smoke, which would inevitably lead to our guitarist friend going to the kitchen to cook his eggs and toast.

My crazy-azz ex would burst out with(To the tune of Metallica's "Enter Sandman)"Eggs at night! Boiled or fried! Take this pan! Off to egg and butter land!":p

We did a song by the Scorpians called "Big City Nights" but as a group, during the corus, we would sing "Big (boobed - changed the word for our younger readers!!) Dykes!
No one in the audience ever caught on... as a matter of fact, it took our girl friends quite a number of shows, to discover our game!
Also, did a Scorps song called Blackout, we changed the words to big nose... ie, I really had a black out, to ... I really had a big nose! If you listen to the original, that's what it sound like to me!

Thank you, I'm now cleaning milk from the keyboard.

A good friend of mine and my wife were driving along singing along to the radio. After listening to the friend singing, my wife asked her "what the hell is thunder cheese?" She responded "I don't know it's just the words, Dirty Dees and the The Thunder cheese!"

I still can't listen to AC/DC without busting up.

Also CCR gets me all the time. Most people get them wrong. I heard "There's a bathroom on the right" for many years until I was corrected. "wille and the poor boys are playing, bring a nickel tap your feet" is also a veritable goldmine of lyrics I got wrong for ever.

My guitarist was singing "Dancin' Shoes" by Carl Storey. Where the line was "Kick out those worn out blues" he sang "Kick out those one-eyed blues".

One-eyed blues????
