Giants started out the season poorly. At one point they lost 9 of 10 games. Now they are on a roll and playing their game. It's pitching and defense with some good situation hitting. If you can't score runs against the Giants you can't beat them.
Looking good right now but the season is still very early.
Matt Duffy and Chris Heston have been very pleasant surprises. Lincecum seems to have found his rhythm except for his last outing. I'm hoping that will be the exception rather than the rule. Hudson is pitching well and of course there is Bumgarner. Matt Cain should be back after the all star break.

The Mariners are stumbling along. They show signs of life, then they go splat. At least they aren't making a good showing early, then falling apart late like they often have done. Actually, they have found a whole lot of ways to fail. Mariners fans have a lot in common with Cubs fans that way.

Meanwhile, the Brewers are stumbling along. They show signs of life, no wait, not they don't. But they sure do go splat. They are definitely not making a good showing early (like last year). They have found a whole lot of ways to fail. Brewers fans have a lot in common with Braves, Mariners, Cubs, and A's fans.
