Yeah I watch that North Carolina State versus Houston game. That was wild.
I watched Villanova beat Georgetown and Patrick Ewing as well.
I was pretty young at the time but I did watch the game where Notre Dame broke UCLA's win streak.

It didn’t take long for me to conclude that the Tar Heels had Plenty of fans...they didn’t need me or mine.
I opted for the ’Wuff Pack’...the very first words our daughter ever said!
Perhaps the coolest sports season I was ever privileged to witness.
The Summer Of 1991 was pretty damn cool, too!

Man, your timing was good. That '83 "Cardiac Pack" was something! They just would not quit!
ACC Basketball used to be the end all be all in March in NC. I remember the classrooms being half empty.
The only thing that cleared a classroom out more was the first day of deer season.
By the way, it took 13 innings but the Sox got win #75!!!! We'll take it however we can get it.

I remember both of those games too.
For the NC State game, I was shopping at Value Village (second hand store) with my mom for school clothes. It was on one of the TV's, so I was watching in between trying on jeans.
Oddly enough, I remember the bell bottom jeans I bought that day, San Francisco Riding Gear.
For the Rangers, I visited NYC a couple weeks before that game and I remember the excitement in town.

Can the Mets get any less from their trades? Several teams needed bullpen help, including the Astros, who needed a closer. Mets trade a good closer, and a guy with over 50 RBIs, who plays all three infield positions, and they get three prospects total, none of whom are projected to be much of a major league player. I know they don't have a GM, but if you are gonna do that to someone, at least buy them flowers first...
As a Mariners fan, I'm not happy when anybody with any value goes to the Astros this season.
The only thing killing me about this great Sox season is that Dustin Pedroia is not in it. Like him or hate him, you have to admit he's a class act and one of the hardest working athletes ever.

Wonder how all the Phillies fans who booed Kapler at the first home game are feeling now?
Cubs picked up another reliever, Brandon Kintzler. They're going to need that entire bullpen to do well, because right now the rotation includes one ace (who's been up and down the past few weeks) and a bunch of guys all pitching as if they're the #5 starter. And I don't have great expectations for Cole Hamels.
Well, to be fair, he was pretty wack-a-doodle with the pitchers the first couple weeks. Eventually he caught on and learned to be patient with his pitchers.

Nope... I think it’s the end of Endar’s time in Atlanta...
I’ll follow him the same way that I’ve followed Martin Prado and George Lombard...quality ball players, quality people, who should have stayed with the Braves for a much longer chunk of their time in Baseball.
I think it sucks.
