Wasn't sure where to put this one. But yes, Wrigley Field now has a record store.
The Blue Jays absolutely stink right now. Dropped two of three over the weekend to Seattle after winning the Friday night game. Then they got blanked in Houston last night. There is no power in the lineup. They are at least getting some baserunners. Now some of these guys really need to start hitting the ball over the wall. I'm not expecting them to be a top 5 team in the league for power, but somewhere in the middle would be nice. They're 29th in HRs as a team right now.

If the Mariners keep it up, this could be an entertaining season of agony. Just, almost, like they are getting their act together. Maybe. If Julio finally heats up, they could actually be pretty good if the rest of 'em keep hitting reasonably well.
Well, taking the kiddo to see the Mariners for his birthday this Saturday, maybe we’ll bring them some luck.
Never thought I'd be saying this in 2025, but the Cubs took the season series from the Dodgers, 4-3. It's still way too early to be a big deal, but it's something. This is also pretty amazing.
Now given their dreadful bullpen and the loss of one of their two best starting pitchers, those bats are going to have to stay hot for the Cubs to go anywhere.

The two losses to your Cubs this week were tough. The good news is they got the Cubs out of the way early.
Skenes looked invincible last night in shutting them out.
Well, my neurosparkly kid made it three-and-a-half innings before his senses overloaded and I had to get him home. I’d say he liked it, but didn’t enjoy it. 10-nothing Mariners, though, and I got to spend some time with him at the ballpark, so I’m happy.
Wow what a completely wild ending to the Giants/Rangers game today. Infield hit with a wild throw to 1st and 3rd scoring the winning run on the first pitch of the bottom of the 9th inning. Insane lol. Giants are definitely playing some exciting and entertaining baseball this season so far.
So, after this nice win on Friday night, the Jays and Yanks got rained out on Saturday, and then the Yankees absolutely clobbered the Jays in a Sunday doubleheader. Final scores 11-2 and 5-1.Blue Jays… win!?! Vladdy hit a homer
The Jays have an off day today and then the Red Sox come to town. Hard to imagine the Jays' lineup doing much against Crochet...
