The Jays lost their series in Pittsburgh this week. Not the ideal start to the road trip! 
Tonight is a big night as Bieber is debuting for Toronto. Thankfully it’s not an AppleTV game so I can watch. His rehab starts have been promising according to all the reports.
Please sweep the Marlins this weekend to make it a 4-2 trip.

So after doing what needed to happen, and sweeping the Padres last weekend, the Dodgers dumped two to the Rockies. So the series this weekend in SD will determine who’s in first in the West with five weeks to go. The good news is that the Dodgers have already won the season series against the Padres, so there’s that.
As of today, Roberts is sticking with Teoscar in right where he has played horribly since coming off the IL. The faithful are divided on the the issue of moving Mookie back to right and Teoscar over to left. With Kike, Kim, and Edmund all still out, I don’t think that move makes a lot of sense right now. We’ll see in a week or two what happens.

Bieber's line in his first start with Toronto: 6 IP, 9 K, 0 BB, 2 H, 1 R. That'll play! I enjoyed every minute. The lineup gave him a quick 3 run lead in the top of the 1st, and then he went to work. Jays win 5-2

Stole 14 bags too. If he gets to 50 HR and 20 SB as a catcher then he may overtake Judge in the AL MVP race.
Only time I cheer for the Yankees is when they're playing the Red Sox.
I haven't been keeping up on baseball the last few weeks but I did manage to catch the Brewers/Giants game the other day as they honored Bob Uecker in Milwaukee. I didn't see it mentioned in here so I thought I just give a quick shout out to Mr. Baseball. The ceremony was well done from what I heard and every Brewers player wore his name on the back of their jersey which I thought was a great touch. If you're old school like me then you know how important Ueck was to the game and what an impact he had throughout the entire sports world of baseball with fans from every team.
Uek on the Carson show was always a highlight for me!

Raleigh now has 50. I haven't been to a game yet this season. Pathetic on my part, but maybe staying away is good luck. It smells better than wearing the same socks.
