Reminds me of a passive Ibanez ATK with the triple coil pickup. I kinda dig it. Get ready for the next 3 pages of posts trying to turn it into a p or j or complaining about the lack of 1%er options.

I like the looks of the body but wish they did something different with the headstock like a kantana one.

I will buy one when they get blown out for a couple hundred.

All of the stuff I got for free wore out!
Bit of Musicman influence in the pickup design I think. I'd love to give it a test drive.

Nice lines. It's definitely easy on the eyes.

I could do without the clashy pick guard though.

Looks interesting, I like the sound and I like the price. I would like to give it a try.

That all black one is pretty cool.

Probably made in China like the other Mod Players

I like it for no other reason than Fender is venturing outside the box with the pup and truss wheel.

Even a paint matched head would be nice.

the tone selector deal should be fun to play with for a while. For like $300 on sale it would be hard to say no.

Like it. The body reminds me a bit of an old Ibanez Roadstar. That kind of chunky, unfashionable, no nonsense 80s look. In a good way.

I think this thing is hilarious. It's essentially a by Fender copy of an Ibanez copy (ATK) of a Music Man Stingray which was designed by Leo Fender. Humor by design.

I mean, sure there are a few mods, but Modern?

With all the constant complaining from some people how Fender never does anything new, just recycles Ps and Js, I can't wait to see how they deal with this. (if at all)
