The M92 is routed on the front and with a pickguard but youre right... Same exact body style as a q5. Preceded the q5 sweet spot i believe.

Good luck with this one. There are a couple of us that have been Hunting cases for our Mod's without any luck
Supposedly a Peavey Cirrus case will fit a Q5, not so sure how it fits a Q4. There's one FS in the accessories section ATM for $80 shipped, but sadly I don't have the extra cash for it.

Has anyone played both a Flea/FU MM and an MM/J? how different is the tone? I know that the MMJ should be more versatile / warmer with the J pickup solo'd, I'm just wondering to what degree - especially since the MM pickup is closer to the neck on the MM config than the MM/J. Thanks for any input - sound clips would be awesome.
When I'm not using my custom Anvil ATA flight case I've been using a generic plywood rectangular case made by (or at least labeled) Ibanez with my Quantum-6 for ~15 years or so. It's not a form-fit interior, but the body compartment is the exact length & width of the Quantum body, and there's a really large storage compartment underneath the neck that provides substantial support, so the whole thing is very snug.
I'm intrigued by the peavey cirrus cases. They do appear to have the same body shape cut out. Or close anyway. And I'm hearing a few sources claim they fit snug with the quantum. Do the q4 and q5 have the same body size? Isn't it just a different neck and bridge?
I have a 2011 P-bass with the molded Fender case and use it inter-changeably with my Q5. Perfect fit.
That's the one- great news, as I am a big fan of those cases!

The cool thing is we can buy them without the Fender logo(IMHO).. never thought about putting my Mod into my Fender case
