Modulus Mob

where are all the pre-TBX neck thrus today if that's all they made back then, even in very limited quantities?

Presumably the same place the post-TBX neck thrus are today: in the hands of happy owners who wouldn't let them go over their dead bodies.

And "all" may indeed be misleading. I have no idea how many were actually built and sold, just that they were offered.

Here's my Quantum 4 fretless:

Now stringed with Sadowsky nickel roundwounds. The best playing neck of all the basses I've played so far. I love this bass so much that I've been playing it exclusively ever since I got it 3 weeks ago, and this is my first fretless.

That looks like my old Modulus I sold. Is there a missing cap on one of the tuning pegs? Great sounding bass for sure!

Hello guys. please help me?
What distinctions in sounding between usual and a turbo position on quantums?

I'm not great at describing sounds but I'll try. With just the sweetspot, you get the musicman type sound. With the turbo option, you get the musicman mixed in with the "honk" of the Jaco sound.

Although I love my bass, I hate the fact that it doesnt have a neck position pickup. Its cuts VERY well in the mix but doesnt have that bottom end the neck pickup gives. Soloing the turbo pickup is almost useless.. I usually play with both pickups on slightly favoring the sweetspot pickup.
