Yes, Q4s are the rarest of the bunch. Fretless Q4s are practically unicorns. So, I keep reading the Q4's are more rare, I can only assume fretless Q4's are much more hard to come by?
I have yet to purchase my first modulus (Sunday) but am already thinking I'll need a fretless modulus...
Might as well just completely switch to 5+ strings while I'm at it... I just don't know if I'm bass man enough for fretless on anything more than 4.
I had a VJ fretless that I ended up selling because I couldn't justify owning such a beast of a fretless. But it had a very clean, controlled sound. I imagine the Quantums sound similar but with different pickups.
Wow, always good to hear from someone from my neck of the woods! My parents live out in Jefferson, not far from Fort Atkinson. I used to go to quite a few shows on E Johnson, so I may have been there. Remember the house number?I will definitely. I see you used to be from the same neck of the woods. Lived in Madison back in early mid 2000's til 2009. We started a basement venue over on E. Johnson calle9d the Gnarly House. I guess there are still shows there. I live in Fort Atkinson now.
