Morbidly obese Jazz bass

I want one of us to buy it just to cut that thing open and see what's inside. Thousands of baby spiders maybe? Or some kind of mind-control device?

And how uncomfortable that must be to play...

Probably feels like playing an ovation acoustic........

Really hoping someone buys this and dissects it. Can anyone here tell more about the bass itself from the headstock?

Edit: After some brief research I think the the headstock decals match those of a 1962-65 jazz, though the neck doesn't necessarily look that old. Really hoping someone more knowledgeable on Fenders will chime in here.

I will go out on a limb and say, not one part of that bass has ever seen the inside of any Fender facility. Complete fake!

I wouldn't be surprised, but if it is, the decal job on the headstock is quite good, kinda hard for me to believe that the same person would have had anything to do with the "modification" on the back of the body. I think the at least neck may be from a genuine fender, the body could be from the same or a different Fender, or a it could easily be a copy.

EDIT: Something I just noticed is that there is no screw hole on the back of the headstock where the strap button would have been, maybe it was filled but it looks like it was never there to me.
